Southern Champion has established a documented Quality Management System (QMS), based upon Good Manufacturing Practices and developed to meet the requirements of the ISO 9000 Quality System Standards. Each of our facilities is ISO 9000 compliant, and our Mansfield, TX division has been awarded ISO 9001 registration. Our commitment to total quality results in increased efficiency, reduced cost, and opportunity for continuous improvement.

Southern Champion Tray, LP is dedicated to providing the customer with superior value, quick response time, and overall manufacturing accuracy in our products and services through continuous improvement in all that we do.
As part of our Quality Management program, quality control procedures have been developed for each production operation. These are followed by each department and are supplemented with daily testing and control documentation. Standardized corrective and preventative action systems are in place and are regularly reviewed by plant management to ensure suitability and effectiveness. Statistical process control and lot sampling are integral components of our Quality Management System, with the goal of verifying, controlling, and ultimately improving the process under study. The success of our Quality Management System is sustained through internal review and periodic quality audits, both internal and external. During an audit, all products and services are subject to review, as are raw materials.
In addition to the standards set forth by ISO 9000, each of our divisions also meets the requirements of ASI Food Safety Consultants. Our ASI certifications assure our customers that our packaging products are manufactured under conditions meeting the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's good manufacturing practices.
