Every Year, United Way hosts their Day of Caring, where volunteer groups are partnered with local non-profit organizations for a meaningful day of service. These projects are all about making a difference in the community and can be anything from site beautification to gardening, and even organizing donations.
This year, Southern Champion Tray was honored to take part in this incredible initiative! On September 22nd, several members of SCT’s Compress location reported for duty at The Children’s Advocacy Center of Chattanooga. Volunteers got to work, both indoors and outdoors to help clean and beautify the Center.

The Children’s Advocacy Center is dedicated to providing a healthy and healing path for children who have experienced extreme cases of abuse. The Center also engages the community in education initiatives revolving around this important cause. Their efforts provide effective intervention and healing in one location to help make recovery as smooth as possible.
